Yet Another Wet adventure

I really am getting tired of all the clouds and rain now. I want the clear skies back!!!

Anyway, last night I got worried because there was a bit of a miscommunication when I tried telling my Mum which buses to get, turns out the nearest bus stop to where she lives isn't in use because the road is closed, so she had to walk all the way to the bus stop near where the shop where she used to work. I told her 2 different bus times, but the way I worded it was saying that one was "at the same time" as the bus that she could have caught from her usual stop if it was in use. So she got the later bus. I was already worried enough, but then got even more worried when I sent another text asking where she was and she said she'd only just gotten on the bus. The bus that was supposed to come 9 minutes ago. And it was so late that according to the bus network app, there was another bus coming right after it.

I panicked a lot, and someone noticed and asked what was wrong. So I told her, and she was really nice and understanding, I said I was Autistic and she said her son was, so she must have been able to tell with me. She was really nice and spent more time helping me calm down than I felt like I deserved. Some time after she left, the bus with my Mum finally arrived, and I tried to hurry her to the arena to watch the Strictly tour, where thankfully nothing else went wrong.

So now it's time for another story. This morning, I ended up getting an earlier bus to work training (again), and thought I'd try going a different way in that area filled with different paths. It was steeper than I expected, but hey, it's good exercise. Just could have done without the rain. And I took a load of pictures.

But the highlight of this adventure was when I got to the field-like area after the uphill path, and as I walked along, I saw this:

It made me jump for the tiniest fraction of a second, because it was very foggy and I didn't know it was just there in what might as well have been the middle of nowhere, and it could easily be mistaken for a real person at first glance in weather like this.

Well, how many more wet adventures am I going to have this year?
